We're Getting There!

Thanks to everyone for your support and your patience, while we work on getting TheTennisZone.com online and ready for business.

We are set to launch this week, after categorizing everything and resolving some shipping issues.

On the site, you'll see all the same stuff you see in our store, so Tennis Zone is going international within a few days.

Oh, and don't forget... Black Friday @ Tennis Zone is going to be crazy! - $99 racquets, $50 shoes, $20 shirts, 25% off anything long-sleeve and more!!

We'll see you at the Zone real soon.

So Close...

Hello again, and thanks for a great week at the Zone!

We're planning to launch phase 1 of TheTennisZone.com this week, so be ready!

Work has been steady, but at time, we find ourselves spinning our wheels or yelling at each other over creative issues... We're still plugging away though.

In-store pick-up is going to be a great perk for our local customers; you'll be able to reserve and pay from home, and pick up the item whenever you like.

Another cool thing about our site is the video pitches.

We'll really start flooding the site with embeded video in phase 2, but off the bat, we'll have a few videos embedded with the item listings so you can see what we're up to.

We know other companies do this.

We're positive we'll be better at it though.

Professional production and unmatched creativity are going to set us apart.

Stay tuned, and email us anytime at tenniszoneonline@gmail.com.

Literally Just Hours Until Launch of TheTennisZone.com

How many hours... I cannot say just yet.

Thanks to everyone for their patience as we make this site awesome.

So, that rumor we mentioned in our last post was apparently not true. - Who knew?

Anyhow, we are up to several hundred items entered in the system.

Also, please note that we are transferring the addresses of all those on our preferred customer email list to our server within TheTennisZone.com.

So soon, you'll be getting updates directly from TheTennisZone.com. (info@thetenniszone.com)

We're also shooting videos for all our featured listings on our site.

This online store is going to be a unique site, designed, maintained and stocked by local tennis enthusiasts.

Thanks for all your patience, interest and help.

Updates will be forthcoming.

By the way, we got a new Lacoste shipment in today! - classic polos, vintage polos, warm-ups, jackets, even jeans and kids' shoes... so come on out, Lacoste-heads!

A Lot Of Balls In The Air...

Greetings Tennis Zone Customers.

So here we are, blogging about some exciting changes at Tennis Zone.

This is where you can get the inside scoop on sales, promotions and parties we hold at the Zone.

It's also where we'll be talking a lot about a new leg to our store... TheTennisZone.com

I'm Ben, and I'm in charge of the internet orders, and basically any word, picture or video (any content) you'll be seeing on our site.

As for actually creating the site, I'm not that smart.

That credit goes to our friends at Atomic Interactive (www.atomicinteractive.com) in Downtown Dayton.

We've been working around the clock, loading pictures and item descriptions into our new website, TheTennisZone.com.

I received some Facebook messages asking about the site and when it's launching.

Apparently, rumor has it that the site is launching this weekend.

I cannot confirm or deny this rumor which the owner, Samer probably leaked, because he's so excited about the site.

I can say that we are planning to phase in products, content and specials, so we make sure we do this correctly.

I can also say that when we can confidently promise a launch date, we'll email you immediately to let you know.

TheTennisZone.com is going to be a different shopping experience than other Tennis retail sites out there.

Here's how it will be similar:

-Like the other bigger companies out there, TheTennisZone.com will never be undersold (Let us know if you see better deal and we'll beat them... It's that simple).

-Like the other bigger companies, the TheTennisZone.com will immediately post new arrivals, offer free shipping on orders over $75, and continually update product videos and prices.

-Like the other bigger companies, the TennisZone.com will feature a demo program, which allows tennis players from anywhere in the world try out a racquet for free (customer pays shipping) before buying it.

Here's how it will be different:

-TheTennisZone.com will be marketed to the world, but our content will cater to the local tennis playing community, connecting tennis players, and helping players find and connect with local teaching pros through a directory.

-TheTennisZone.com will be present everywhere (We shouldn't expand too much on this yet, but you'll see what we mean).

-TheTennisZone.com will offer in-store consultations (Just tell us when you're going to be in the area, what your preferences are, and we'll shop with you).

-TheTennisZone.com's product information will be written for the tennis enthusiast with average vocabulary. We're not dumbing it down, we're just presenting the same essential information through words, pictures, videos and feedback. This will be a fun buying experience.

There are plenty more points I could make, but I need to hold back some of it.

That's enough for now.

Please tell your friends about the regularly updated blog, and invite them to join our email list, by emailing us at TennisZoneOnline@gmail.com.

I'll be back soon to talk more...
